57 years later--a 1957 Chevy Bel Air

When people refer to a '57 Chevy, what they are really talking about is the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.

I found a black one parked--and this coupe is for sale--in a Niles, Illinois driveway on Saturday.

This classic car has a V8 engine with 283 horsepower.

They'd be very cool now.

Beautiful car. There is no way this car has 283 horsepower. The 283 refers to the cubic inch displacement of the engine which was offered for the first time with the 1957 model year.
