CORRECTED: Saturday: Scandal-ridden Quinn to give Illinois' highest honor to scandal-ridden Hillary

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn, who is facing dual scandals--IDOT patronage and the NRI slush fund--will award the state's highest honor, the Order of Lincoln, to Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Poor Abe--first he gets shot and now he has to endure this indignity.

Clinton grew up in Park Ridge near Marathon Pundit world headquarters in Morton Grove.

For her part, Hillary has her own scandalous legacy, including Whitewater and most recently Benghazi.

In a twist of irony, Quinn will also be honoring former FCC director Newt Minow, another Democrat. But Minow, best know for calling television "a vast wasteland," is supporting Republican Bruce Rauner over Quinn as the unpopular incumbent faces reelection.

As for the vast wasteland, I believe now it's Illinois, which is suffering from the nation't third highest unemployment rate.
