Deal with it, libs: Trains failed in Chicago during brutal cold snap

Liberals love trains, as I've written many times in this space. Unlike cars, trucks, or buses, trains can only go where there are railroad tracks and a qualified engineer behind the controls.

And control is what liberals love the most.

The Chicago area was hit particularly hard by this week's polar vortex cold snap. On Monday a new record low temperature of -15 was reached.

While many drivers of cars struggled with bad batteries--and there were many accidents because there was a snowstorm before the bitter cold hit--Chicago's el trains and the Metra suburban trains didn't meet Jack Frost's challenge. In fact there are still numerous delays on Metra tonight according to local radio, even though today's high reached the teens.

Libs view mass transit as one weapon to battle so-called global warming. But trains in the Chicago area can't cope with the climate change of winter of 2014.
