Ed Rendell: Obama's 'doing fine' comment "a significant misstatement"

Buried deep in a Politico article is this admission in regards to President Obama's gaffe, "The private sector is doing fine" from former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, a former Democratic National Committee chairman.

"I'm not saying the president's remark on the private sector 'doing fine' was smart, it’s obviously a significant misstatement," Rendell said.
