Occupy movement embraces phony Lincoln quotes

For the second time in less than six months, I caught the Occupy movement using a phony Abraham Lincoln quote.

From OccupyDesign:

Here's that phony quote:
The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, (and) more selfish than bureaucracy. It denounces, as public enemies, all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes.
Even Daily Kos admits it's a hoax.

At an Occupy Chicago march in November, I discovered this dishonest quote from Honest Abe being touted by a protester:

As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the republic is destroyed.
Failed movement, phony quotes.
