Video: Netanyahu wishes Kirk a speedy recovery during AIPAC speech

While speaking at the AIPAC annual meeting yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wished a speedy recovery to Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL).

"I want to send a special message to a great friend of Israel who is not here tonight--Senator Mark Kirk--the co-author of the Kirk-Menendez Iran Sanctions Act," Netanyahu added.

Kirk, a freshman senator from Chicago's North Shore, is recovering from a stroke.

UPDATE 5:10pm:

Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL), the Chief Deputy Whip, enjoyed lunch with the prime minister, along with other congressional leaders. Rep. Bob Dold (R-IL), who represents Kirk's old House district, addressed his constituents at AIPAC.
