Huntsman statement on Bachmann ending presidential run

Jon Huntsman had this to say this morning about the withdrawal of Michele Huntsman from the presidential race.

Michele Bachmann brought an energetic and passionate voice to this race, and she should be proud of the ambitious solutions she offered to reduce our national debt and rebuild our economy. I wish Michele and her family nothing but the best, and know she will continue to be a powerful force in the fight to defeat Barack Obama and restore America's greatness.

The former Utah governor and ambassador to China has solid conservative credentials and he possesses by far the strongest foreign policy background of any Republican running for president. As I mentioned earlier this week, the latest edition of National Review named three GOP contenders who "deserve serious consideration": Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, and Huntsman.
