Daley Plaza during Christkindlmarket |
If you think Occupy Wall Street is about fighting "greed" and "unfairness," you are sadly mistaken. The movement is a Trojan Horse that is also championing socialism, communism, the anti-war movement, and the Palestinian cause, among other things. In Chicago, the protesters have also protested
for the right to protest at next spring's NATO/G-8 summit on the city's Near South Side.
As for the last one, Occupy Chicago
won a small battle today. They will be given protest space at Daley Plaza, which is three miles away from McCormick Place, where the summit will occupy from May 15-22, but near the media and many working Chicagoan.
And as Rebelpundit
reported a few days ago, Occupy Chicago might have a base of operations near the NAT0 G-8 events.
The group that applied for the permit is the Coalition against NATO/G-8 and War on Poverty.
