FBI wiretaps earlier captured Blago referring to that seat as "f*cking golden."
Three days after that fundraiser Blagojevich was arrested by federal authorities at his Northwest Side home.
The House report also claims that Junior may have broken federal law by directing his staff to campaign for the Senate appointment.
In a story published by the Daily Herald about that seat on that ominous day, December 6, 2008, Jackson said, "So the bottom line is I believe I'm the best, ideal and most qualified candidate,"
What a guy, huh?
Jackson and his lawyer deny the accusations. The next step in the investigation is for Junior to respond to the allegations.
Illinois' new gerrymandered congressional map places Jackson in a contorted landmass that reaches far from his Chicago base--but into the home of former US Rep. Debbie Halvorson, who was defeated in her reelection bid by Republican Adam Kinzinger.
Junior is in a big f*cking mess.
