"It's very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine; it's the public-sector jobs where we've lost huge numbers, and that's what this legislation is all about."
That's what Harry Reid said on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday. The national unemployment rate is 9.1 percent, it's 13.4 percent in Nevada.
In Illinois, where I live, it's 10 percent.
Reid is out of touch, as the Republican National Committee informs us. Oh, who pays for public sector jobs? The private sector.
