From Easy Rider: The Band, "The Weight"

Amidst quite of bit of misbehaving in the movie Easy Rider are some terrific road scenes with some memorable music.

The Band's "The Weight" plays as Peter Fonda (Wyatt), Dennis Hopper (Billy), and a stranger along for the ride travel through Monument Valley.



Peter Fonda's vision of Easy Rider to film a western on motorcycles. His character was named for Wyatt Earp, Hopper's for Billy The Kid.

Last summer the Marathon Pundit family drove on the same road shown in the video.
