Santorum in Anamosa Wednesday; my 2010 posts about "Grant Wood Country"

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will hold a townhall meeting at the Lawrence Community Center in Anamosa, Iowa at 10:00am on Wednesday. The eastern Iowa town is the birthplace of painter Grant Wood, whose best known work is of course American Gothic. A few miles west of Anamosa is Stone City, where Wood and some other artists briefly ran an art colony.
