Tim Pawlenty appeared on Fox News Sunday this morning and he's wondering why the president is hiding after one of the most ignominious announcements in American history, the downgrade of our AAA credit rating by Standard & Poors.
"We shouldn't have to play 'come out, come out where ever you are' with the president of the United States," Pawlenty told host Chris Wallace. "He has an obligation and a responsibility to lead, and you can't find him. He should step forward to the microphone and lead this nation on the most pressing, challenging financial issues of our day. And he is not in action. He's hiding on these issues, he's ducking on these issues."
Oh, while listening to the fabulous Teri O'Brien BlogTalkRadio Show just now, blogger Arizona Scott told O'Brien that while Obama may have inherited a recession--he has been president for 32 months now--he also inherited a AAA credit rating. And a first-rate military that captured Osama bin Laden...
