Our "Hope and Change" president was at a Chrysler plant in Toledo yesterday, patting himself on the back because "the government has been completely repaid for the investments [loans] we made under my watch by Chrysler."
Uh, no. The government will lose $1.3 billion in the deal. Man, this guy is slippery than Bill Clinton. Oh, in the Obama-driven rescue of Chrysler, Obama upended a century of bankruptcy law by taking care of his union buddies ahead of the preferred creditors. That's why they are preferred creditors, they are supposed to be paid off first.
