Smoke the Donkey is finally a cornhusker. The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that the onetime homeless Iraqi donkey who became a beloved camp mascot for some United States Marines, arrived in Nebraska's largest city this afternoon.

Smoke's amazing three year journey to America's Heartland to serve as a therapy animal at Omaha's Take Flight Farms would not have been possible without the tenaciousness of Col. John Folsom.
