Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, the public-sector union tool, told WBEZ-FM, the Chicago NPR affiliate, that Wisconsin Governor Pat Quinn should be "ashamed" because (in my words) he restored balance between taxpayers and government workers.
In the heat of a tight campaign for his office last fall, Quinn signed an agreement with AFSCME, the largest union representing state workers, that bars member layoffs for two years. This occurred two days after the union endorsed Quinn.
Quinn is the one who should be ashamed.
