T-Paw at Tea Party convention: "The government's too damn big"

Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty spoke to a meeting of the Tea Party Patriots today in Phoenix and had a little fun with the patriots by declaring "the government is too damn big," alluding to Jimmy McMillan of the Rent Is Too Damn High Party. "So here's our simple motto," Pawlenty declared, "the government’s too damn big!"

Cutting the government down to size and turning America won't be easy was the theme of his address. "It takes extraordinary effort," he said. "Valley Forge wasn't easy. Settling the West wasn't easy. Winning World War II wasn't easy. And Going to the moon wasn't easy. This ain't about easy. This is about rolling up our sleeves, plowing forward, and getting the job done."

He must have gotten a little religion after watching Mitch Daniels commit political suicide.
