Thank you, state Senator Ira Silverstein; Lou Lang disappoints

At least one of my local politicians has his head on straight. Ira Silverstein (D-Chicago) is my state senator. He voted against Pat Quinn's 67 percent income tax increase.

Thank you, Ira.

Lou Lang (D-Skokie) represents me in the lower chamber. Well, let's just say I live in his district. He voted for the massive tax hike.

I won't forget it.
