Jared Loughner and "Zeitgeist"

That alleged Arizona assassin Jared Loughner is not a right-winger or a Tea Partier has been an established fact for a week. But after listening to Andrea Shea King's BlogTalkRadio show this evening, it's apparent that the loon was obssessed with the conspiracy-driven documentary Zeitgeist, as Robert Stacy McCain told the audience.

"The Other McCain" says what the Beatles' White Album was to the Manson Family, Zeitgeist is to Loughner. Wow.

I haven't seen the film, but appearently it's a mishmash of various conspricy theories--currency manipulation, DaVinci Code-like views of Christianity, anti-Masonic rants, and 9/11 myths.

Oh, McCain, who is very familiar with Zeitgeist, implores that "it is not is definitely not conservative."
