Note: I posted this entry last December. I think it deserves another look. Many of the Christmas trees on sale in the Chicago area come from Michigan.
I spent Labor Day weekend in Three Rivers, Michigan, near Kalamazoo. During a long run, I came across the Newland Tree Farm. It specializes on high-end trees, pictured on the left are Frasier firs, on the right you'll see Colorado blue spruce.
