Gingrich: Stop START and stop the omnibus bill

While running for president Barack Obama said he was against earmark spending. But last year he signed into law a bill loaded with them.

An omnibus spending bill making its way through Congress is stuffed with nearly 7,000 of them.

One of the messages from Election Day is that Americans are fed up with runaway Washington spending.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, while on Fox News earlier today, says the Democrats aren't listening to the voters.

He's urging Americans to call their senators and tell them to vote "no" not only on the omnibus bill, but also on the START Treaty.

Gingrich believes it is irresponsible and dangerous for a lame duck to Senate to vote on such an important treaty. Besides, there is a disagreement between our country and Russia in regards to whether it will allow us to continue development of our missile defense systems.
