Labor still contributing to Manchin and Bennet, despite their opposition to card check

The so-called Employee Free Choice Act, with it's anti-secret ballot "card check" provision, is the holy grail of Big Labor. Like cap and trade, it's one of bills voters turn away from when they learn more about it.

Democratic US Senate candidates Michael Bennet of Colorado and Joe Manchin of West Virginia are against EFCA, but The Hill is reporting that unions are still filling the coffers of their campaigns.

Why? Manchin and Bennet have expressed concerns with EFCA, particularly card check.

If Bennet wins his seat outright--he was appointed last year--and if Manchin prevails in his race--will they "take care" of their union cronies?

West Virginia and Colorado voters should think about that when they vote on Tuesday.

UPDATE 9:00am CDT: Manchin's duplicity doesn't end with card check. Doug Ross explains.
