I was wondering what was wrong with Robert Dold's campaign in the Illinois 10th Congressional district. The Republican has been trailing in every poll in this North Shore district just to the north of my home.
Democrat Dan Seals, who lost in 2006 and 2008 to Mark Kirk--who is now running for the US Senate (more on him in my next post), was looking like a rarity--someone who could flip a GOP district to the Dems. That may still happen.
But WeAskAmerica has Dold (rhymes with "sold") leading Seals 50 to 39 percent, with 11 percent undecided. Backyard Conservative reports that Dold is leading in cash too.
The Great Correction: Right on schedule.
