Obama to roll out another stimulus in Wisconsin, Feingold won't be there

I just watched the Wall Street Journal's John Fund say that only three percent of the $862 billions economic stimulus boondoggle went to infrastructure improvements. Much more went to state governments so they could make their payroll, pushing their day of reckoning down the road.

Now President Obama is planning another stimulus, a third one if you count last month's bailout bill for state governments. Wait, didn't the first stimulus do that?

The $50 billion Stimulus 3.0, which the president will outline today in Milwaukee, will be directed at infrastructure, or so he says.

When will Stimulus 4.0 be rolled out?

There will be an interesting no-show at the Milwaukee event. Democratic Senator Russ Feingold, who is locked into a tough reelection battle, won't be there. Hiding? Interestingly, earlier in the day Feingold will be in Wisconsin's largest city.
