Giannoulias caught lying about his support for a tax increase

Years ago Chicago White Sox chairman Jerry Reindsorf had this to say about George Steinbrenner, the late owner of the New York Yankees: "How do you know when George Steinbrenner is lying? When his lips are moving."

Which brings us to Illinois US Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias, the failed mob banker, who is defending the Roland Burris seat for the Democrats.

Giannoulias' lips moved twice today on Chicago radio, first about loaning money to a mob pimp, and then about his support for a tax increase.

Radio Host: "So you want to raise taxes."

Giannoulias: "No, I don't want to raise taxes..."

Radio Host: "Stop, stop, stop. I've got you on tape saying you want to raise taxes."

Audio Played: "I've said from day one as your state treasurer that while politically it's not the smartest thing to say, we need an income tax increase."

Giannoulias paid no 2009 state or federal income taxes.

You say lying, he says tomato.

Giannoulias does not want his taxes raised (he likes them at $0, thank you very much)
He just knows for him and those like him to continue with $0 tax liability "we need an income tax increase" on all the stupid sheeple.

Very consistant with Liberal/Progressive/Statist thinking.
