Yesterday I blogged about the Rachel Corrie-loving, pro-Palestinian demonstrators who protested at Caterpillar's annual shareholders meeting in Chicago.
Today I'm going to focus on the real peace activists, the pro-Israel demonstrators. Picking the good guys versus the bad guys should be a no-brainer. The Palestinians send suicide bomber into seders and pizza parlors, killing indiscriminately. Israel defends itself from Hamas, which has fired 4,000 missiles into Israel since it seized control of the Gaza Strip. And Israel is supposed to do nothing? What if a terror group in, let's say the Bahamas, fired 4,000 missiles at our citizens?
It's very clear to me that the good guys in the dual demonstrations were wearing Israeli blue and white.
The man on the lower left is the oldest demonstrator I've seen at a protest--and I'm quickly becoming an authority on civil dissent. He told me he was eighty, but I suspect he at least five years old. God bless you, old man.
