Obama Buffaloes Americans

While in Buffalo yesterday, President Obama told workers at a manufacturing plant some economists consider the recession has ended. Obama acknowledged that unemployment remains high, but he either is oblivious or simply doesn't care that his policies, such as ObamaCare, cap and trade, and the so-called Employee Free Choice Act are creating great uncertainty among business operators--which is compelling them to be cautious in regards to hiring new workers.

But the real reason Obama traveled to the Empire State was to attend a New York City fundraiser, where Obama unleashed this rant:

After they drove the car into the ditch, made it as difficult as possible for us to pull it back, now they want to keys back. No! You can't drive. We don't want to have to go back into the ditch. We just got the car out.
The car is not out of the ditch, it's just not sinking into the mud anymore. Possibly. What I fear is that we've entered a Jimmy Carter-esqe period of stagnation. Which means that we are simply stuck in the mud.

It's a recession when your neighbor loses his job, it's a depression when you lose your job, it's a recovery when Nancy Pelosi loses her job.
