On Monday the
Billings Gazette celebrates its 125th birthday. Four years before Montana became a state, the
Gazette was spreading the news in the rough town where the Northern Pacific meets the Yellowstone River.
The paper has already started celebrating by publishing a
special edition. Not only are there flashbacks of historical events, but printing innovations, comics strips, as well as the story of how its sun logo became the symbol of the
