Happy Birthday, Billings Gazette

On Monday the Billings Gazette celebrates its 125th birthday. Four years before Montana became a state, the Gazette was spreading the news in the rough town where the Northern Pacific meets the Yellowstone River.

The paper has already started celebrating by publishing a special edition. Not only are there flashbacks of historical events, but printing innovations, comics strips, as well as the story of how its sun logo became the symbol of the Gazette.
