Marty Stuart announces creation of Mississippi Country Music Trail

Mississippi is best known for its blues music heritage. That alone makes the Magnolia State an important cultural center. But quite a few country singers have called Mississippi home, including the "Father of Country Music," Jimmie Rodgers, but also Charley Pride, Conway Twitty, Jerry Clower, Faith Hill, Paul Overstreet and Marty Stuart.

As you'll see in the video, Stuart announces that the Mississippi Blues Trail has a companion--dedicated to country.

Thirty markers are on their way, which will include the artists I've named.
