Born to run in snow

There is still quite a bit of snow on the ground in Chicago's northern suburbs--March has come in like a lamb. That's your humble blogger running in Morton Grove's Linne Woods two days ago.

I can't believe you still have so much snow on the ground. Thank goodness, the white stuff here has melted, and the ground is even beginning to dry up a little.

We got a lot of snow this year, and unlike Washington or New York, it sticks around here. (We don't complain like they do!) Although yesterday I was in Chicago's south suburbs, and most of the snow is gone. We got hit with a lake-effect storm two weeks ago that they didn't get.
