Chicago native Shani Davis, who once trained at the Robert Crown Community Center and Ice Complex just three miles from Marathon Pundit-land, won another Olympic gold medal in the 1,000 meter speedskating race in Vancouver.
Another American, Chad Hedrick, won a bronze. Korea's Tae-Bum Mo took the silver. Davis, 27, is the only man to win two 1,000 meter golds. He became the first African American to win an individual gold medal in the winter games.
