Two years ago I visited the modest house on the left--the birthplace of Elvis Aaron Presley in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Today is Elvis' 75th birthday--alive or dead, he still is a profound influence on the culture of America. And the world.
The Presleys didn't live in the house for very long--they couldn't make payments on it and lived in various homes until moving to Memphis when Elvis was a teenager.
From there he became the Hillbilly Cat and the King of Western Bop--and finally the King of Rock and Roll.
