Pam Harris of Western Springs, Illinois is a home health care worker who does not want to be represented by the Service Employees International Union. And my guess is that SEIU doesn't really care about Harris, who receives state funds for taking care of her disabled son. But SEIU, which spent $60.7 million to elect Barack Obama, is certainly interested in her dues money.
Oh, did you know that SEIU endorsed Governor Pat Quinn's bid to win election to for a full term next year?
And that on the day before Election Day last fall, SEIU's president, Andy Stern, met with Quinn's 2006 running mate, Rod Blagojevich?
Michelle Malkin has a lot more about SEIU and its power grab--and what parents are doing about it.
