I found one, an Illinois politician who won't denounce Governor Rod Blagojevich.
It's Deborah Mell, a Chicago Democrat who was elected to the Illinois House last month.
She's the sister-in-law of Blago, and she told the Chicago Sun Times' Carol Marin that she doesn't know how she'll vote in an impeachment resolution comes to the House floor.
Deborah Mell is the daughter of powerful Chicago alderman Dick Mell. I can't remember the exact words, but in its endorsement of Republican Jim Ryan for governor in 2002, the Trib wrote that Blagojevich was "largely a creation of his father-in-law."
Mell's minions got Blagojevich elected first to the Illinois General Assembly, then to Congress, and finally as governor.
Blago and Patti Blagojevich are now estranged from the Mell family, and this is certainly a difficult time for them.
But Dick Mell owes the people of Illinois an apology for foisting this abomination into public life.

LOL getting Tricky Dicky Mell to
apologize for that.
The Messiah says Blago can't
effectively serve the people,
and should resign. What makes
this man think he's any better
than Blagojevich? Other than
the fact that he is the new prez.
For a man who claims to have had
no dealings with Blago concerning
his vacated senate seat, he seems
to be stammering a bit during his
latest interview. As for Blago's
sister-in-law Her Dick may distance
himself from her as well.
But he also gave us the best televised performance in Chicago history when he jumped on the desk during the Sawyer annointing following Harold's premature demise. What I woulnd't give for a clip of that right now...
2004 LA Times story about Deborah Mell
The Holidays will be hell at the Blagojevich and Mell households this year and it is about time.
Not only is this harsh, but it's the truth.
