Frank Rich's Sunday New York Times column is so bad...it doesn't even come up to the low standard of "innacurate."
Rich tries to make an argument, and fails miserably, that megachurch leader John Hagee's February endorsement of John McCain compares to Barack Obama's twenty year relationship with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Hagee has made some pretty whacked out statements, particularly about Catholics. I'm a Catholic and so is my daughter.
But McCain was never a member of the Rev. Hagee's church.
McCain didn't title a book after one of Hagee's sermons. In fact, I don't believe the senator ever even attended a Hagee service.
Hagee is not a member of McCain's spiritual advisory council; Wright once was on Obama's council.
McCain was not married at Hagee's church, his children weren't baptized there...
Is it necessary for me to continue?

You obviously aren't educated and sophisticated enough to understand the nuances of the New York Times.
Yep, could be. But unlike Jayson Blair, I have a college degree.
John,
While this has not been reported, apparently Rev Hagee has apologized for some his more extreme statements. Further, he has explained what meant at some length. Dennis Prager, on his radio show, interviewed Rev Hagee, see April 30 and previous (where he interviewed John Hagee), shed some much needed light on the Rev.
