1993.We had a lot of rain yesterday and there are flood warnings in the Chicago area. Luckily, most of the North Branch of the Chicago River is surrounded by forest preserve, so the risk of damage to homes and businesses is minimal.
That's the river in the Linne Woods Forest Preserve in Morton Grove.
