Too good to be true. Because they are not.
This offer was true, as AP reports:
A Roman Catholic priest from Killdeer (North Dakota) believed his invitation to meet with Pope Benedict XVI at the White House was a hoax.
The Rev. James Shea said he got an e-mail invitation on April Fool's Day and deleted it.
"I put it in the same place I put all the e-mails with special offers for Viagra," Shea said.
He thought nothing of it until a follow-up contact.
Father Shea has knew the pontiff when he was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.
