Rezko covered on the McLaughlin Group

The McLaughlin Group took on th Anthony "Tony" Rezko story over the weekend, and this YouTube clip does a pretty good job of explaining the Obama-Rezko relationship that goes back to 1990. The panelists don't think the Rezko taint will stick--keep in mind this was aired before Rezko was jailed for a bail violtion--and they fail, like many others, to ask the unanswered question about the 2005 real estate deals between Rita Rezko and the Obamas--Was the land deal a complicated loan from the Rezkos to the Obamas?

This John Kass Chicago Tribune column was published over the weekend. Free registration is required for the link:

Dirt shows up more on a white horse," a conservative political wise man who knows and likes Obama told me at breakfast the other day. "It doesn't show so much on a gray horse. But on a white horse, it's dramatic."
