That's the view of the North Branch of the Chicago River a few hours ago in the Linne Woods Forest Preserve in Morton Grove. It was about 5 degrees above zero when I took this photograph my ten mile run. The weather is supposed to remain below freezing until Sunday, so it will be interesting to see if the river freezes over tomorrow or Saturday.
