Immigration bill deported from Senate

The people have spoken. Obviously immigration reform is desperately needed in this country; the current system isn't working--unless of course you operate a business that hires low-cost illegal immigrants.

But a strong public backlash against the current, but soon to be dead immigration bill ha been transferred to the oblivion committee.

Immigration, along with national security, will be the two key issues in the 2008 general election.
