Sanity Squad podcast on the Iranian hostage crisis

Well, as I write this, the British sailors have not been released by the Iranians. Hopefully, they'll be free from the mullahs when I wake up in the morning.

The hostage crisis and the West's inability to come to terms from the threat of radical Islam caught the attention of Dr. Sanity in the latest Sanity Squad podcast.

I've likened it it in my own mind as a to kind of a "Showdown at the UK Corral" here, that the forces of civilization and law and order are now in a showdown with the forces of jihad and chaos, and we're not doing so well.

Even if the hostages are release as expected Thursday, that showdown will continue, Neo-Neo Con, Siggy, and Shrinkwrapped agree.

It's another excellent podcast, which would've been perfect had global warming been brought up by the panelists. April snow flurries accompanied my iPod during my morning run while I listened, and when global warming is a Sanity Squad topic, it's usually a brutally cold iPod-battery-challenging day.

Better luck next week.
