Ex-runner and ex-congressman Jim Ryun plans to run again

One of the Republican congressional incumbents who was defeated in November's Democratic romp was Jim Ryun, an Olympic medalist and the first high school runner to run a sub-four minute mile.

Well the ex-runner doesn't want to remain an ex-congressman for long. He plans to enter the race to reclaim his seat. Democrat Nancy Boyda was the upset victor last year, and the national Republican party is targeting her for defeat next year. But Ryun may face GOP opposition.
