Chicago Marathon close to reaching cap of 40,000 entrants

With the 111th Boston Marathon one day past, it's already time to focus on fall marathoning. And if you are like me, and are planning to run in the Chicago Marathon--you need to sign up now. Numerous sources--including the race itself via e-mail--are all singing the same song, this year's race is close to selling out.

Once the number of entrants has reached 40,000, registration will be closed.

This year's Chicago Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, October 7.

I'm already entered, it'll be my 18th consecutive Chicago Marathon.
