Durbin apologizes to Illinois VFW members

This just in from AP, Durbin spoke with at VFW convention in Peoria.

``Some may believe that my remarks crossed the line,'' the Springfield Democrat said on Tuesday. ``To them I extend my heartfelt apologies.''
