Morton Grove raccoon family

How lucky am I? Two great nature photo opportunities--taken advantage of by the way--in three days. While running through Morton Grove's Linne Woods a couple of hours ago, I encountered a raccoon mother with her five kits strolling through the forest. Two of them are pictured here with mom. It was late in the day--note the ray of red light on the tail of the kit on the left.
