With their marriage crumbling, Richard and Linda Thompson released their final album, Shoot Out the Lights in 1982. It was a critical sucesss and it ranks #333 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Today's Saturday musical selection, which might have something to do with my drive up the front range of the Rockies last month, is "Wall Of Death" from that album.
The performance seems to be from the early 1990s; that's not Linda singing back-up, but Illinois native Shawn Colvin.
