Johnny Cash week continues on Marathon Pundit. On his ABC television show The Man in Black entertained viewers with a segment based on his 1960 concept album, Ride This Train.
"The Ballad of John Henry" wasn't included on the album, but the song is about railroad building and of course, the folk tale of John Henry.
It's a great performance, and there is no lip-synching--Cash coughs a couple of times during a rare stab at percussion.
