The World Waterfall Database lists Yosemite Falls as the twentieth highest, but like El Capitan, it's one of the most photographed natural features of its type in the world.
Spring is the best time to take a picture of the falls, but I took this one last month.
As I've written several times over the last few days, California is experiencing a drought, so I was fortunate to see any water at all--sometimes Yosemite Creek goes dry.
In the foreground of the picture is the Merced River, the creek is a tributary.
Next: Half Dome
