Minnesota Senate recount: Coleman leads by 167 votes

After each day ballot recounting, the St. Paul Pioneer Press updates the totals of Norm Coleman--Al Franken US Senate race--at 8pm Central. Today, however, the counters are taking a day off.

Republican Coleman, with 65 percent of the votes counted, leads by just 167 votes.

After the recount is completed, the battle will go on--there are almost 2,000 ballots that have been challenged by either Franken or Coleman supporters.

I'm surprised Coleman is still leading. Keep our fingers crossed.
