Another very violent weekend in Chicago has passed. As of Monday morning, 46 people were recorded as shot in Chicago, seven of the victims are dead.
Among the slain is a 13-year-old boy who was killed Friday night in North Lawndale on the West Side.

Early count has the weekend posting 10 killed with 62 wounded; 23 shot, 2 fatally since midnight... subject to update/change.

The Democratic National Convention will convene in Chicago in two months. The city isn't ready.
